When it relates to longevity, I haven't any considerations about this slipping apart or being harmful for my cats. The spiral springs bend when you use power to them, but this isn't an everyday issue (or a thing my cats would even do). At times a cat has the urge to try and do one thing but will discover there is not any method of expressing the
